Casino road trip

We were delighted with the attendance and discussion at the recent Dairy UP road trip.

About 30 people joined us at the Fleur and Sam Tonge’s property, Kupidabin near Casino. The Tonges are one of Dairy UP’s  partner farms for our remote pasture monitoring project (P1a).

Topics covered on the day included cattle longevity (Ian Lean), intensive systems (Sheena Carter), Kikuyu potential (Martin Correa Luna and infectious diseases in calves (Barbara Brito).
