P6a Resilient Cattle (heat tolerance)
Dairy UP’s PhD student, Alice Shirley recently had a review published in the Animal Journal.
She examined the historical and contemporary use of the terms ‘resistance’, ‘tolerance’; ‘resilience’, and ‘susceptibility’, and proposed new definitions in relation to ruminant heat stress.
