Alice Shirley joins USYD after completing her PhD with Dairy UP

Dairy UP PhD student Alice Shirley, has been appointed to an ongoing education-focused role with the University of Sydney from May 2025, when she is due to complete her PhD candidature.
Her work will include both teaching and research on determining individual animal variability to heat stress with an aim of providing new phenotypes for genetic selection of dairy cattle, following up from her scholarship from Dairy UP.
