Dr Tori Alexander has joined Dairy UP on a part time basis to help with the next phase of project P1a Remote Pasture Monitoring.  She is co-ordinating development-related activities with Dairy Australia, Dairy NSW and LLS. Tori completed a PhD at the University of Sydney, investigating voluntary cow movement in automatic milking systems.

Dr Laura Ruiz Espinosa recently joined the P1c Kikuyu Genetic Variation team which is evaluating potential new varieties for their commercial value to the dairy industry. She oversees the on-farm kikuyu strip trials which are capturing physiological responses, biomass development and disease expression throughout the year.

Dr Sarah Legge has been appointed as the Associate Lecturer and Unit of Study Coordinator for Dairy Production and Technology within the University of Sydney. Sarah is a familiar face to many, having completed her PhD as part of project P2e Calf Husbandry.
